Dedon Seashell Nuo is the Dedon furniture outdoors line that revives the Seashell chair. Jean-Marie Massaud kept the shell curve that closes around your body and spread it across six pieces, from a side chair at the table to a stool at the bar.

About the collection
The Seashell chair at every height
Massaud first drew Seashell for Dedon years ago, and Nuo brings it back. Each chair curves around you the way a shell curves around what it holds. The result feels calm and protected, and you notice it most in a lounge chair at the end of a long day.
The pieces cover a full patio. You get a side chair and an armchair for dining, a lounge chair and a beach chair for the deck, and a barstool and a counter height barstool for an outdoor kitchen. One weave runs through all six, so a mixed set still looks like one family.
Dedon master weavers make every piece by hand on Cebu Island. The fiber is Dedon EcoCycle Fiber, 90 percent from renewable plant-based resources in place of fossil-based material, with the same look, feel and weather resistance as standard Dedon Fiber. The colors are Pearl and Sepia Sea.
Cushions come in the Dedon outdoor fabric families: Natura, Caleo, Tucson, Gaia, Muse, Nube and Borneo. Pick one fabric for the dining chairs and another for the lounge pieces if you like. For a wing chair with a matching footstool, look at Seashell Grand, the sister collection.

Jean-Marie Massaud
French designer Jean-Marie Massaud joins comfort and elegance, heritage and the spirit of the time. His Dedon work also includes Sealine and Seax, and outside furniture he designs products, stores and a football stadium.
