About the collection
Soft shapes around one table
Pedersen drew Bellmonde to help people relax. The forms are rounded and organic, and the chairs carry a textured weave Dedon developed for the collection. Armchairs and lounge chairs now join the table, so one family covers dinner, a long conversation afterward and an hour of lounging.
Pedersen likes the problem of outdoor contract design: the piece has to look good and still handle daily use by many people. That thinking shows in the table, which you order in four sizes, S, M, L and XL, from S for a smaller terrace to XL for a larger group.
You choose the top to suit how you use the table. HPL in Lipari or Black Pepper resists impact, moisture and steam. A mineral composite top in mineral gray is waterproof and stands up to frost, UV and abrasion. Tecton ceramic resists scratches and does not absorb liquid. Teak versions pair the wood with Lipari or Tecton.
Clean HPL, mineral composite and ceramic tops with a soft cloth and warm water. Leave ceramic uncovered in winter and let air reach it. Teak turns silver-gray outdoors unless you clean it and apply Dedon Teak Color Protector during the year. Use coasters on every top.

Henrik Pedersen
Henrik Pedersen trained in fashion design before moving to furniture and industrial design. He runs a studio in Aarhus focused on lifestyle design and aims for pieces that carry emotion as well as sound engineering.
